HUMP. Entertainment proudly supports young performers on the NW coast of Tasmania with paid opportunities to perform at festivals, public gigs, and local events alongside professional musicians. With many going on to study performing arts or continue performing independently, we are proud to play a small part in helping the next generation performers.
How it Works
It starts with video auditions open to vocalists in Years 7-12. Selected artists then work closely with our team on song choice, workshops, and rehearsals before taking the stage for a final performance backed by HUMP. Entertainment as the house band - giving young performers a taste of real, professional stage experience.
Why it Matters
This is real-world experience in a professional environment, with mentorship and guidance from people who work in the industry. For many alumni, it becomes a launching pad, going on to study performing arts or continue performing independently as working musicians.
